hi guys

i have a p4 3.0e cost me $255 what do you think about that cpu and my
computer is fast now?

I went to a swap meet today in melbourne and got a brand new dell 17 inch screen for $60 good price?

and other think would i need to reload windows xp to make the p4 run at full speed?

here are my specs

Windows xp sp2

17 inch Dell screen

screen size is 1024x768
petium4 3.0GHZ

motherBoard GA-8IPE1000

400w psu

ram 512 DDR pc2700

radeon 9600 PRO 256 mb

40 gig samung

80 gig western digital

120 sata maxtor

cd burner 52x liteon

dvd burner liteon

and would doom3 and ut2004 work almost perect?

If you are in Australia I don't know about the prices. In the US you can get that CPU for $185, and you will see the inclease in speed.

Youw ill not have to reload WIn because of the new processor, you will just have to reactivate it.

Everything looks good with Doom3, but the vid card will give you low FPS.

Also what PSU do you have?

my psu 400 watts

but i would probley get more out my graphics card and your you think

also u need some pc3200 ram to run that cpu at full speed, because that ram will limit your performance

Yes sir, that would be my first upgrade. That is one heck of a deal on a monitor, good find.

so want do you think about my sytem it did have celeron got the p4 last night?

So how much would that ram cost ?

and my motherboard dose support dual channel would it work pc2700 as well as want you think i shold get?

and get the top speed would that be the case

what i mean i had a look on the box p4 3.0e prescott 800 FSB

and it only cost me $225

what do you think about that

hi i said the wrong think last post this is the corect one mp

pc has pc2700 in it at the momment i a wanring to know if pc3200 would work and the fast ram would still be running fast
not taking out pc2700 because it is 512mb

and mb has dual channel ram slots

and one can help would be great

He's from australia like me. It's a nice price for hear in australia. It beats centrecom.com.au by $3 and there the cheapest i've seen since searching for about 6 months. Where did you get the screen and the processor. Also, your sustem is alright. it's one of those kinda budget gaming pc's but they'll do.

You could try to get that PC2700 to PC3200. You might want to get sam ram heatsinks for it though. You either do that. Or you get another stick of PC2700 anf you drop your CPU
DR ration down to 1.66x. I hope i've helped

What the hell. I smiley poped up. I must of typed one of the code things for it. I typed this DDR:CPU but the othr wy around so it must be this
