heres my new case, i said screw the speakerbox thing, its just too complicated.. so im just going oldschool and throwing it all on a mobo tray, then soldering on clamps for psu, hdds, and cd/floppy. Now all i need is a cd drive, and a cpu lol

Wow, that actually looks very nice Shawn. A helluva lot better than my pc on an end table. I am not even gonna post a pic of mine. Are you going to wire loom the psu and any fans you might use? I would highly recommend using at least one 80mm fans to blow air across the mobo/video card.

Yeah, it's ok. I have my motherboard sitting on top of an acrylic monitor stand, without risers. Many people use their mobo's cardboard box.

Yes sir.

Edit: but it is always nice to have an anti-static bag under the mobo.

oh yeah, and if you look at the thing, its got the ability to attach cooling to the back of the mobo. I'm also going to rivet on some fan brakets so I've got one on the video, one on the mobo, and a 120mm blowing air at the cpu fan about 3 inches above it
