woaah my PPD just shot to 6.8k last update ... and now it says i have made a little over 5k the last 24hrs
wth?? i never pass 4-4.5k because i can only fold ~16 hours a day (cant sleep if its on ... sounds like jet engine)

check my production history

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...hp?s=&u=370889

how is this possible?
i think its because i started folding SMP and the last WU's ware ONLY 1680's

edit: what pisses me off ... is that since this moment ... today it didnt fold a bit ...
when i woke up and started my pc so it can fold ... i realized my exhaust fan wouldnt spin ... so i didnt have the time to fix it and went to school ... i fixed it now by opening it and adding grease and now its folding ... todays PPD wont be that high ... maybe 3k .. no more

The ones listed in the thread referred earlier.. I D/L them last night and had about 10 mins so I updated and was quite shocked!

These are the Vista x64 but others are there I'm told...

Hope they work out for you and everyone else.. What's odd is they were released in Jan '09 and I never saw them.. They are beta so I think nVidia are using these as their next "Big Bang" driver set..

~must get moar ppd!

Almost double PPD from a driver update? THIS IS MADNESS! If ATI folded half as well i might be inclined to contribute but not with the numbers they are currently producing.

Get this.. my output has gone UP over nearly 20% work done on the core ..

HERE

LOL.. This IS madness!
hmm. you think i'd see an increase? i'm not using one of those newer cards, and this seems to apply only to them....

Not sure.. Others reported not seeing much on the 8 series cards so I didn't give it much hope.. had some time so figured WTH and did my normal routine of cleaning and re-install.. I had it in my mind I would roll back to the current WHQL's but going to now install these on my other rig running an old G80 8800GTS 320mb and see what happens..

Currently that rig is putting out just under 3k PPD on the *same* WU so I'll easily be able to see an increase on that bad boy too I'm hoping!

well, i've had nothing but 1680s for DAYS now, and though they take 9 hours, i've been managing around 3500 PPD. i kinda miss the WU diversity :S

Yea I do too but if these new cores react well to this set of drivers, screw WU diversity

Wow.. dumbfounded as to why they are working so well with these new cores but I'll just keep quiet for now and let others enjoy them.. Others are reporting similar... We need to get a handle on which systems/cards these work best on as my G80 core hasn't seen an increase.. Must be G92 and 200 series cores.
