Decided to stay with the P5W DH Deluxe, I thought Kentsfield was 1000$, but its actually 1300$. I cant afford the other motherboard ATM =(

Was wondering.. If my board doesnt have the updated BIOS it won't support kentsfield.. So does that mean I won't be able to boot at all, or will the board just utilize 2 cores until I update?

I hope I don't have to find a cheap socket 775 processor just to update the BIOS!

My MSI board didn't have a bios issue, nor did a P5B-E have to update the bios, so I think your good.

My only hobby is gaming and computers, so it leaves quite a bit of money to spend on them.

Definitely a beautiful build. I would wait for R600 though just to have something to compare the 8800GTX to.

You stated above that you were a gamer. I've read Kenstfield vs x6800 reviews stating that the x6800 was better.

I'm sure the quad core will be better in the near future.

Nice build =)

Everything snapped together... no processor yet =/

Still need to do some wire management...

It boots though... Everything seems to work, but no picture because no processor. So it seems like everything is working so far.

BTW the 8800GTX is longer than the motherboard.
