Bios is much, much better. Software can get unstable quickly and you have to re-do your OC after every reboot.
Welcome to OCN,Enjoy & have fun,in the BIOS makes a better oc

Even though (like you) I've only been OC'ing for a couple of weeks now, my vote also goes to bios. For 3 main reasons:

1. Like Acoma Andy said, you gotta redo it each time (of course there might be a save profile method... but really? every time you boot?)
2. Used one and it locked on me each time I tried it. Even if I'm raising clock by ONE. Go into bios and was able to raise it by many more and it still passed stress tests.
3. It's like something moving under the bed covers... what is it REALLY doing? (if anything)

So yeah... even though it's a newbie vote... bios.
