The biggest sea-dwelling crocodile ever found has turned up in the Tunisian desert. The whopper of a prehistoric predator grew to over 30 feet long (nearly ten meters) and weighed three tons.

I know Dinosaur means 'The Terrible Lizard' but what does Rex mean?
King.

I believe it is used to denote the biggest species within a genus or family.

So, i suppose that's where "Lizard King" comes from.

i see 10 to 13 foot long Gators pretty regularly. A 30 footer would be awesome. I'd probably have to hose out the boat after seeing that.

Yup.

Another reason why many of us are indoors on computers, playing video games that have bad ass worlds. The alternative is spending thousands and thousands of dollars to explore this world....

Our world got boring pretty quickly for me. It was cool when I was a kid and everything was new, I spent every waking moment outside, exploring, fishing, hunting with my dad, etc. After about 13-14 years old I had no more appeal in spending time outside anymore. Virtual worlds are just much more interesting.

Back then there were no humans to shoot them to eat them or make purses/wallets out of their skins - I'm pretty sure there are a few crocs if left alone would grow to the size of school buses!
