So remind me...the GTS 250 is a rebadged...9800GTX+?

Yes. It even SLIs with it. It is however updated with a smaller PCB, 1 PCI-E power connector standard (most 9800GTX+ require 2), and reduced power consumption while idle and load by a decent amount.

that the Canada site it says 124.99 cad that just over 98 bucks us. lol

first time i looked at it it said 125cad

According to the few reviews I have looked at it performs about 10-20 fps more @ 1680x1050.

ah, well that's not bad..now it's on par w/ a 4850...maybe that's what triggered the name.

$13.36 for shipping to Texas kills it for me. Newegg has the same card for $5 more and shipping is 1/2 the cost so it comes out to be the same price for me...

Would this card work with the same drivers for the EVGA 9800 GTX+ 512MB out of curiosity? (Asking because I'm using it under OS X and I know the 9800 GTX+ drivers work 100%).

Deals on the 4850's are already popping up...
