This will be my 1st build and was looking for any improvements to what I have. Really tight budget on this. I want this for gaming mainly, and maybe some ocing in the future.

Amd athlon 64 3200 939 $156
MSI neo-4 f 939 mobo $85http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813130491
PSU Epower puma II 450w with 28a on 12v $51http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817101513
Maxtor 200gb ata 133 HD $75 http://shop2.outpost.com/product/3492233

Total $367 shipped

I already have 2x 512mb of this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146353

Dont need case, cd/dvd drive,or anything else. Planning to get an oem copy of win xp. Going to wait and buy a geforce 6600, or a low end 6800 vid card a little later.

So how does that look, and will that psu be good enough for a lil ocing? Is my mobo ok for ocing? I dont need the best just something a lil easy to use.

Is the 3200+ a venice core...they are good for oc ing. I would get a 500w psu, personally. Otherwise, it looks great to me. Good luck!

What are you going to do for a graphics/video solution ?

I also would look at a better performing PSU.

cheers

Yes the 3200 will be a venice core. Psu had me a lil but it a good price. So is it the brand, the level of the psu, the amps that not makes it as good? Long story but I cant spend much more. Was trying to stay with known brands, Epower, Antec, Fortron, enermax. I know the Nuuo is a good psu but twice the price I had set aside. Maybe some examples of other psu. Is xlico any good? http://www.newegg.com/product/Produc...82E16817189005
