$50 budget unless there is a big difference between a $50 and $60-70 one making it worth the extra cash.
I'd like to keep it as cheap as possible. I'm fine with my onboard audio, but the drivers are causing games to lock up(DAMN YOU REALTEK).
I have a Realtek ALC888 and I currently have Klipsch 2.1 plugged into the "front speaker" port, and two rear speakers in the "rear speaker" port.
I like being able to listen to music on all 4 speakers with the "speaker fill" option in the realtek menu. I assume all sound cards have this option? It sends audio from instruments other than the lead guitar to the rear speakers to fill in the sound.
