I thought printers used ethernet cords to connect to routers?

I could be wrong though, not really up to date much in current technology.

Printers with no built in network capabilities can connect to a router with usb.

you can connect via usb or if they have wireless capability you can connect straight to the router

the Dir-655 is a good router. Supports g or n at one time

Dir-825 tad bit more supports G and N at the same time

I've read the DIR-655 USB port is messed up, only supporting windows connect or whatever.
EDIT: I've also read now that a new firmware upgrade allows it to act as a local usb port for any computer on the network, is this correct?

If you search for this router on google and what not, you can definitely find it cheaper.

I would not have suggested it if I didn't think it was a decent router.

I've been looking at the WRT350N, if you are into DD-WRT firmware, you just have to find a deal on it or use egay.
