Need a wireless router

Yes, there is a thread right below this one on this subject but I don't have really a budget. For the budget lets keep it below $200 (based off the routers I've seen on the market).

All I'm looking for in the router is...

- Wireless N
- Reliable (current netgear one sucks so much, its been getting worse everyday)
- 4+ ethernet ports
- Must work with macs

If you have any other suggestions, post them.

I have the DLink DIR 655. Works great both wired and wirelessly - used it with cable and dsl.

Look at Linksys, they have pretty good routers for not bad prices

Hope this helps!
To the OP what netgear do you have that is not working well. My netgear is on 4 years strong. I'll probably be getting the dir-655 or the dir-628

There is no such thing as mac compatible and stuff like that since a router is a layer 3 device.

That's where I was trying to get at with him on Steam...

The software on the CD is complete crap, all you gotta do is type the IP address of the router and you can configure it there.

I would get the Asus one since it has DD-WRT support but I know Marin won't take advantage of that =O
I've been using a dlink dir-655, solid router, can handle a lot of traffic (all ports are gigabit), and it has tons of features such as setting up virtual server. Also I don't think I've had to reset it in almost a year. Pretty much your best bang for your buck for a consumer based router solution.
