that RAM should fit, try what thewaxshop suggested. just don't force the RAM into your board whatever you do.
on a side note you should have gotten the other corsair value select DDR400. they have 2 versions, one is a CAS 3 and the other 2.5 you got the cas3 stuff which isn't as good as the 2.5 stuff... plus, the 2.5 is generally cheaper as seen here:
