So my next build is going to be a SB build.... This is what im going to get so far.

Case- My Antec 902 v3
Mobo - Gigabyte P67A-UD4 or MSI P67A-GD65
CPU - i5 2500k
CPU Cooler - Thermalright Venomous x w/ 2 2000rpm fans
PSU - Either a Corsair HX850 or a Corsair TX950
Ram - Not sure....
Video Card - My Radeon 6870
HDD's - My HDD's

Im not really sure what ram to get.... I need something that is good but will be able to fit with my Venomous-X cooler. Recommend me some RAM?

Edit: Or should I still use my Ripjaws set and save the money for something else?

Completely agreed. The Ripjaws are really nice RAM. This way you can also save a couple hundred bucks and invest into something else nice like an SSD!

I don't know about saving a couple hundred right now. RAM prices have come way down despite the current situation in Japan right now. Maybe they're trying to offload a bunch of Radioactive chips. Would be uber cool for us S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Metro 2033 and Fallout players.

Our teeth & hair would start to fall out we'd get huge tumor growth on any part of our anatomy that is closest to the MoBo and our Cases would glow saving us untold amounts in LEDs' and CCLs'.

Yeh I just bought 8 gigs of 1600 gskill for $75 and my justification was that high end memory does nothing tangible for Sandy Bridge. Someone had a review of memory using Sandry Bridge all the way from 1333 to 2000 I believe, and at most, there was a 1 fps difference in games.

I'd be interested in reading that review, do you have a link or do you know where you saw it?

@OP... still bro as someone said save the money and put it toward something else. Maybe increase the amount on the GPU or put it toward a Fan controller, SSD or CCLs' or even sleeving. Ooh or better yet put it toward an AX950.

This is true, I got my Vengeance kit for $99. Either way, bottom line is he'll be saving some cash.
