Need Help First Time Setup

I am doing water cooling as a graduation project and I bought this kit http://www.svc.com/03-l-1340.html

I installed everything by how the manual says and all the tubes are real tight. I filled the reservoir with water mixed with this red liquid that came with the kit (just regular tap water I only need this to work for one day). So once it was filled I turned on the system and the pump is only pumping a little bit. The tube going from the pump to the radiator starts out vertically straight up and the water just rises and falls about halfway before it levels off. A small amount of water has made its way to the end of the tube at the entrance to the radiator but no water is exiting the radiator. Does anyone know what could cause the water to not travel the whole loop?

Heres a pic of the problem area, red circle is where it rises and falls, blue area is filled with water

res-pump-rad-cpu-res is how it should go. Make sure the res is completely full leave the cap off so the air bubbles will go away
the pump should be below the res

also there are better kits

But custom w/c is and always will be best

you need to have the tubing going smoothly to the pump. and not have the tubing at a arch also I would not use a y connector in the loop either. Also the pump is not that greatest either

Ok. when you filled your loop, you left a lot of air inside it. Obviously this needs to come out. What you need to do is dismount your water block and radiator. Don't take the loop apart, leave it hooked up together.

Be sure that the pc is not plugged in. You can get a 12 volt power supply to run that pump, the sort of dc power supply that will plug into a wall outlet.

You are going to have to bleed the loop. Think of it like a baby that needs to be burped. ie. be gentle and patient.

What you want to do is have everything lower than the fillport on the pump and run it. You will have to move/wiggle/reposition some of the items perhaps to be sure of getting all bubbles out. This may take a while. With that much air in your loop, you will need to add a lot of water. So be prepared. Strongly suggest you have lots of towels handy in case of spills.

If while filling you get ANY water into your computer do not turn it on until you are 100 percent certain you have dried it out completely.

edit:
OP, have you solved your issue then?
