I am trying to connect my Linksys WRT54G router wirelessly to my 2701HG-B DSL modem. A printer is connected to the linksys via ethernet, making anyone on the network able to print. The linksys is able to obtain a connection when wireless security is disable but doesn't work when it is enable. Here are the router stats.

Linksys (DD-WRT v23):

Static IP: 192.168.1.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.254
WAN IP: 192.168.1.100
Wireless mode: Client Bridge
Wireless network name: 2WIRE554
Security: WEP

DSL modem:

DHCP Range: 192.168.1.64 â€" 192.168.1.253
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.254
Wireless network name: 2WIRE554
Security: WEP - Shared

There are two types of WEP security. Make sure you have the same on each side. You can either do "shared" or "open". Granted WEP is not very secure, but "shared" is even less secure than "open".
