Hi, I need some help with my OC. I can get the CPU to 2.54 no problem (haven't run Prime95 yet), but I would like my RAM to run at 225MHZ or thereabouts...

Here is a screeny of CPUz:

I have done some reading within this Forum, and perused the "x2 3800 users" thread. I have also messed around in the BIOS with 1T/2T, Memory Limit, Delay, and some other things to no avail.

What I am shooting for is 2500Mhz on the CPU and 225Mhz on the RAM. Is this mathmatically possible?

Here are some BIOS shots:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is a divider that will do this speed... I think it's straight from DDR333 to DDR400, but I'm not sure about that Asus motherboard. When I had mine running at 2.5Ghz with DDR333 divider my ram was at about 209Mhz or so.

Thanks for replying - 209 is better than 169. Do you recall what you did to achieve that?

Lets see...

HTT: 4x
FSB: 250Mhz
vcore: 1.375v
RAM: 2.5-3-3-7 2.8v on a DDR333 divider (2.8v probably isn't needed, but 2.8v can't hurt TCCD so wth)

EDIT: also, what is your cpu? Manchester? Toledo? What stepping?

Manchester Core / Stepping = 1
I'm running Prime95 now on the settings in the original post. Once I run for a few hours I will restart and see what I can do to improve the OC.

Thanks for your help.

Good luck! Lol by stepping I meant the 5 letter thing that's on the second line of print on the CPU. Mine is LDBFE, and yours should be something similar. Forgive me if you already know this, but since your main rig is a C2D, I would think that you are mostly an intel guy.
