Hello,

I was thinking about puting a aircool on my Classifed MB, but after seeing the size and everyting and I want to at some point to WC, I have desided to go ahead and WC. My question is which of this blocks should I get? Also if I get one of those blocks it ask if I want a acrylic back, is that something I need or does it come with a back plate to install, or is that how I get my backplate?

Also I am looking at Swiftech MCRES Micro Revision 2 reservoir, is this a good one? And how much Feser One F1 Cooling Fluid should i get to fill my system? I know it really had to do with everything i put into it and how long the tubes are etc. but a rough estimate. Should I get 1,2,3 etc?

Thank you for your time and help.

For a CPU waterblock, get the Swftech XT. Why not just use distilled water and PT Nuke as biocide or a piece of silver in the loop? They sell tubes by the foot and it depends on what loop you're setting up.

On the tubing and clamps my question is can you get just a s good tubing cheaper at somewhere like Lowes?
Lowes wont be much cheaper, I think the top inner diameter tubing they carry is 5/8ths
I've seen Tygon tubing on a press machine. It was incredibly stiff and hard to bend, but it is durable. Masterkleer tubing is cheap by the foot.
get some masterkleer 7/16ths tuning to fit over 1/2" barbs
run distilled water and PT nuke for your coolant
The best waterblock on the market right now are the Heatkiller 3.0 and the Apogee XT

OK and is there a difference in the cooling of the heatkiller 3.0 that has black on it or the one that looks all copper? or is that all just looks? and what about clamps is it better to order them or get them at lowes?

Also will I get the same cooling from the Feser One F1 Cooling Fluid as Distilled water?

The reason I am asking about all this is that i am aiming for 4.5 ghz on my i7 920, that is if the MB and chip will let me.
The Feser One F1 cooling fluid is the same as distilled water, but they charge more just for the name and color.
Also on the heatkiller what fittings do I want to get? they offer like 3 different type, i know I want the 1/2'' bards but what brand or type they offer?
Fittings list for your barbs. Most seem to use Bitspower fittings here on the forum.

There is not reason to w/c you n/b or s/b at all. Just take off the n/b,s/b then clean of the old thermal paste. Then put some OCZ freeze on.

You might as well rep me for all of the information I have given you. Not really unless you want to do it just for fun. BTW, that block is for the EVGA X58 Classified motherboard only. Most people cool the CPU and GPU, then the others if they want to.

begging for rep or telling someone to give rep is not allowed

Ah, well giving out advice and information may lead to better answers. I shouldn't asked about rep then.
so does the Classified NB/SB cooler enough to keep them cool? Sorry I normally replace teh NB/sb with some aftermarket, but that was for my 680i too. I just want to make sure that i can OC to the hightest i can without making overheating or lag. I never watercooled before this will be my first time that is why i have so many questions. And thank you for answering them for me.
First timer? Then you're no different than me. You must research a lot about watercooling, checking out other forums, reading watercooling guides, buying the parts that you need, and cleaning and maintenance on your WC (watercooling project). It isn't necessary to cool the NB/SB, but you can since they do tend to run a little hot. First timers start with a CPU only loop, then move on to other components once they are confident that there are no leaks in their setups.
Ok and one last question that comes to mind. on fans I am getting a Thermachill pa 120.3 rad. I was thinking about using these. I have shroads for the Rad, but I am at the moment just putting 3 to push and in the next month getting the last 3 to pull. or should i look at the 38mm fans the Panaflo instead? and should I go ahead a spring for the extra 3 now or can it wait for a month?
