Looks like I hooked some spyware. Spybot-Search & Destroy and Spy Fighter have not gotten rid of it. I know I should boot into safe mode but I have a slight problem there...when I reboot I go straight from the Abit display to the black Windows loading screen with no prompts for keystroke to start up in a different mode. The OS is from the original rig setup which was Dell, so they have a couple of their tweaks in place and I am pretty sure this missing feature is their treachery. Anyone know how to get around it??? (besides buying stock XP)

Update: It is coming up as a Trojan Horse...fun times in the city! Well, I will see if the antivirus will get it.

Ok, got the F8 thing down to get into safe mode (thanks wife!). Once there I re-ran AVG Anti-virus, Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy...with no luck! Eventually this thing self-loads SpyFalcon onto my desktop and starts it up at which point I get the warning shown below. A couple hours later and I am still fighting with it...suggestions??

Helps to add the image!

Well, for anyone else that may come in contact with this thing...have fun. My wife (the REAL computer geek in the house) fought with it for a couple hours. Finally we went to www.2-spyware.com via a search of SpyFalcon. They had removal instructions which she printed and followed, or tried to follow as the case might be. There were dll's that would not unregister so they could not be deleted. It was actually kind of funny in a sick way, we were 3/4 through the list of things to delete when all of a sudden by its little old self, wham, there was SpyFalcon again, intact once again and ready to play. The hands went up and the wallet came out...$30 for Spyware Doctor and it is now gone. The other spyware softwares that I got yesterday, Spybot Search & Destroy and SpyFighter (paid for Fighter) couldn't get rid of it. That's all folks.

Why not run all your adware/spyware removal programs in safemode with command prompt? It always works for me! Spysheriff is what I had, I believe.
