need help with connection

i know this is off topic but i need help please! i just got a xbox 360 and a wireless network adapter and i trying to link it with my extender but i wont work it says its connected but when i test the connection i wont go... please help asap....

Have you checked the ports on the firewall on your router to make sure they are open.

How about some details, what router are you running, what type of encryption Etc.
