Looking to see about upgrading my machine soon. Reason for a new MOBO btw is my current one only has one PCI Express slot.

Thinking of going PSU>MOBO>2nd 6870 CF

or simply

PSU>Radeon 6950 or 6970

Any other ideas plz feel free to share

You won't need to upgrade your PSU if you're just going for a single 6950/6970.

Upgrade the PSU last. When you are crossfiring.
