Need mid-range card, mostly for [email protected]

I currently have a friends 2600XT in my work computer that lets me use dual monitors and I fold on it as well. He wants it back in a few weeks so I will probably purchase a new card so I can continue using my dual monitors (and fold as well). I'm looking to spend about 100-150 or so. I was looking at the 4670 and 3870 because they are about the same price. My instinct would be to get the newer model card but the 3870 scores better on benchmarks. Keep in mind this card will primarily be used for folding, so that is more important than benchmark scores. But will the newer card get more points than an older card? Or should I go with the 3870? If you have other suggestions I'm open to those as well.

I am selling an 8800GTS in the FS section. It is set-up for water, but it comes with the stock cooler and you could always sell the block and ram sinks.

Between the ones you listed, I would go with the 4-series.
So after looking at various cards PPD, it looks like Nvidia still gets much more than ATI so I might go with a 9800gtx or something then. Any recommendations?
8800 series and above for that kind of cash, maybe a 9800GTX+ would be a good option. If you have more cash than a 9800GTX2 / drool

150? that's 4850 territory

But yeah, if folding is your game, I'd go the Nvidia route

Yeah you should go nVidia , 9800GT ,9800gtx+(gts 250) will fold nicely

Edit: a nice 9800gtx+ and a GTS250 , one of the best out there, and cheapest too
