Need more Hard drives, but only 4 SATA ports?

Hi all. I am looking to get a few more hard drives for storage, but my EVGA 750i FTW motherboard only has 4 sata ports. And all 4 are already being used for my primary hard drive, a storage drive, and 2 DVD burners. So no room to add the other 3 large capacity SATA storage drives. You see people all the time on this site with 5+ hard drives. How do they do it? Is there some kind of multi-port hub or something that I can plug into one single SATA port, and it has a bunch of other SATA ports on it? Sort of like those USB hubs that have 4 or 5 usb ports, and plug into one single USB port.

Only problem I can think of with that is, will the speed of say... a Western Digital 640 Black, be able to saturate the PCI bus? Probly a dumb noob question, but I know the PCI bus is is pretty slow, and the hard drives are only getting faster these days.
Your average PCI slot will get about 133MB/s
SATA II can transfer at 300MB/s
But your average SATA hard drive rarely manages above 200MB/s

So it will be slightly slower. However as long as it isn't your OS drive you won't even notice.

A slight error; SATA II transfer at 3 GB/s or 3000MB/s.

So why not just use an IDE drive? Or even a SATA drive, but adapted to IDE. if it's just for storage as you say, I don't think having it run a little slower would hurt anything.

No, it's 3Gbps or gigabits per second, which is 375MBps or megabytes per second. For some reason this is reported as 300 megabytes. And SATA I was 150MBps.

There's no such thing as SATA II.

The effective bandwidth is due to the encoding overhead. For every 10 bits of data, only 8 bits are usable.
SATA 3Gbps => 8b/10b encoding => 307.2MB/s

That I do know, but you said MB, not Mb. It's my understanding that an capital B =bits, and lower case b=bytes.

Thanks for all the help guys. Unfortunately, it looks like the fastest slot I have available is going to be a PCIeX1 slot. But I have decided that I want to run a Kubuntu drive off of it. So it would be nice if it had a little more speed than a lowly pci slot. I am not planning on running any kind of raid at all on it. I just need the extra slots. Think this one is any good? It's 300mbps so 300/8=37.5megabytes per second.
