1. Do you have any parts from the old system that are going to be used or is this a scratch build?
2. Whats your budget?

$1500,
Well, the old system can provide the HDD and CD/DVD-ROM and possibly the case but I'm not sure on the case being I have no idea who made it.
Building a killer gamer with that budget won't be a problem.
Fill us in more on your old system and what you may have to use or... you may simply be better off just selling it whole!

BTW, DX10 isn't working to well in the bench mark area, it's rather doggy and slow when it comes to frame rate, sorry

ok well it was a stock compaq, it was $800 and i added a 5.1 sound card and a x1300 video card (AGP), i wouldnt use the case really, its really small cant support much, the thing about dx10 is i dont know if cod4 will support any lowr than dx10 thats the problem but if it supports dx9 then i have absolutely no problem going with that. i mean ill use old part or buy all new parts i can swing either way, as long as i make a great new computer.
