Need new motherboard and Ram

Hey guys, I finally decided to part with my current motherboard due to all the issues it has been giving me. Also decided to get some new ram as well.

Here's what I picked.

DFI LP DK X48-T2RSB PLUS LGA 775 Intel X48

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000)

I don't really want to part with my q6600 yet. What are your guys opinions on them?

That DFI board looks good. May take a look at the $115 Gigabyte EP45-UD3P. PQ ram is fine. At that silimar price, PI 1000 and PK 1066.
