Hey i was planning on purchasing This http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161299 today but it went deactivated...just my luck. Now should i buy it from somewhere other than newegg? or is there a card of the same chipset thats just as good. Only requirements i need is a vga and dvi out. Appreciate it as usual.

I picked up the ASUS 4890 because I like the different fans and mine stays extremely cool and is overclocked decently.

Not a lot of difference between them I don't think to be honest.

NewEgg has a lot of 4890s.

I really like XFX products because they have fantastic warranties.
Get whatever 4890 is the cheapest. If its from another store it shouldn't make any difference. If you're willing to pay a bit more for better heatsinks and warranty, thats up to you though.

HIS is fine IMO, I've done an RMA through them and it went smooth. Just dont get visiontek, they're the devil >.>

Got some RAM from them a few years back, just as prompt as Newegg.

You could look on ncixus.com or zipzoomfly.com for that model if you really want it. Any other model that doesnt have a refrence cooler should be about the same. I always go for reference cooling models because I know most overclocking software will work with them
