Need some advice on a single loop cooling solution

Alright, I don't know anything about water cooling, and i've never messed with it before. I mean i have a good understanding how it works and how it goes together, but i'll be back in the forum asking question for that whenever i get the parts.

Anyway, I don't know the first thing i would need for parts for a single loop to cool a Phenom II 940. I don't want anything crazy expensive, but i still want something that will get the job done. Where do i start? any and all suggestions are very much appreciated!

Best way to start is to look through the stickies on beginners water cooling. Once you get a good general idea, it'd be a lot easier to help you.
well i think the most i need help with is picking out parts. I dont know of a good water block for a Phenom cpu. I could go out and find one that fits an AM2 socket, but i dont wana get something so cheap that it doesn't work tbe greatest. So really im just looking for some general recommendations on the essential parts needed.

Pump
Radiator
Tubing
Block
etc...
Alright, well, here's a brief overview

Pump- I would get either a MCP655 vario or a MCP355. Both are great pumps, but the MCP655 has a greater flowrate than the mcp355, while the mcp355 has better head pressure.

Radiator- Depends. Do you want your system to be loud, or somewhat silent? About how many dba can you handle?

Tubing- I would get masterkleer 7/16" tubing, or if you want colored, get primochill.

Block- Bang for the buck, Enzotech Sapphire REV. A trumps all. This little block is only 35 bucks, but is on par with the 80+ dollar heatkiller. Also, has great flowrates.

Reservoir- all up to you. You can opt out and get a t line, but its way harder to bleed. My personal favorite are the EK multioption and the Micro res from swiftech. The micro res is discrete, easy to bleed, and cheap, while the EK multioption is just marvelous in aesthetics.

For fluid, go with pure distilled water and a piece of silver in your loop. Don't get any pre-mixed stuff, since the dye in it will eventually seperate and clog up your block and other components. The piece of silver acts as a biocide, so you won't have any nasty algae building up.

As for fittings, go with all 1/2" barbs and 7/16" tubing. The slightly smaller diameter on the tubing will provide a better fit over the half inch barbs. That being said, get some bitspower fittings or danger den fatboys. They tend to have a wider OD, so the fitting will be more snug than with other 1/2" barbs.

Oh yeah, and what's your budget? Are you going to try to fit your radiator internally?

Ok so far im set on getting the following parts...

Enzotech SCW-Rev.A cpu block
Swiftech MCP 655
Masterkler 7/16 tubing
Swiftech MCR320
Swiftech MCRES Micro Rev. 2

I don't know how much tubing to get since they sell by the foot. This is just for a single loop for my Phenom, but i might add a 5870 waterblock in the future.

Im almost sure that i have thought of everything i need, but i don't want to forget any of the small details. Will i need to buy extra 1/2in barbs for the above parts? or do they come with the one's i need. Also would it be wise to get some extra hose clamps. I already have some fans for the radiator so im set there. If im missing anything let me know

Also i would like to have a coolant that is dyed red, but i don't want to get some thats going to do harm to the loop over time. any suggestions?
