You absolutely will notice a difference. I went from 21" to 27" and it was a night and day difference. I would never go back. Now going to something like 2560x1600, you'll be very pleased, as long as you have the hardware to push those pixels (as it looks like you do).
Awesome that is what i wanted to hear. but I do however wanna know if there is a BIG difference from a 2560x1600 compared to a 1900x1200 res?
Holy hell balls that's huge.
Anyways, think of it this way.
A 22in has an area of ~200in2 (Square with diagonal of 22 has area of 242)
A 30in has an area of ~400in2 (Same logic)
You're looking at roughly double the viewing size, so yeah, I'd say it's a pretty big difference.

1900 x 1200 to 2560 x 1600 is roughly 1.8 times the pixel count, so that's quite a nice boost in res too.
Also, im running arm 1920x1080, will i see a improvement on my fps on these video cards? As I know most games don't even support 2560x1600 do they ?
You will totally notice a difference. Especially on that thing! The only thing I might consider is the response time. It said something on the specs like 12ms/8ms? Anything that size with the standard 5ms around?

Higher res lowers your fps...
Also, most games do support 2560 x 1600 iirc.

So then this monitor wont be a good monitor for gaming since its 12/8 ms ?

Eh... the lower the better. If you can find 5ms I'd go for that... 2ms is top notch.

I'd like to think so. LG makes really good products. My buddy has an LG Flatron 27" LCD with 2ms response and that thing has me green with envy... and I just bought a monitor! Lol. I'd pick that over the HP personally.

Would u say the 30 is a bit better then the 27 your friend has even though his is 2 ms ?
Ahh nvm, it doesnt run at 2560x1600 so I guess what I asked was a bit foolish, my fault.

I'd have to see it to know. But the resolution is great and it has the industry standard response time. Unless you're a hardcore SFIV player, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Only 1 bad review about dead pixels... but that happens with most monitors. Just as long as you don't get a dud you should be fine, I believe.

What? It says 2560x1600 under recommended resolution... what do you mean?

Really? Ok bear with me for a moment. Blink. What happened there took at a minimum of ~400ms. Do you really think the difference between 5ms and 7ms is going to ruin or even noticeably make an impact on your viewing experience? Response time is an extraneous spec IMO, just like Contrast ratio.

Also, LG and HP are pretty on par in terms of Monitor quality.

2x 5850 is good enough for you, no need for an upgrade.

Well... I'll tell you this. I don't notice the difference. But some people have that ability to do so. I sure as heck wouldn't notice the difference between 5 and 7, so that doesn't matter much to me, but I was just considering all the aspects of it. I know a lot of hardcore Fighter players who hate playing on 5ms because it responds too slowly... at least for them. A lot of people don't have the eye for that. It just depends on who. Which is why I thought it something worth mentioning.
