It is a great Idea although as said before: It's better to get a 7200Rpm or higher for secondary storage but If you want to get a Better SSD with more space/speed It'll be a great Idea.
I support your decision to switch the OS drive to an ssd but loading games onto it doesn't really make sense. The most you'll see is a slight jump in load times and that is all. The second drive for storage can be a slow 5400 if you wish

Actually I run a SSD and load times in games are actually a lot faster
