OK guys I've been going to a little place that has live blues and I'm looking for some good artists to look up. I've got Robert Johnson and Clapton but I'm looking for more

Thanks

I know a hell of a lot of rock blues, and a bit of real old original 30s/40s and 50s blues like Robert Johnsons, howlin wolf, muddy waters etc

here is a bit of rock blues by an artist you mentioned (if you haven't heard it before already?)..

Also, check out Rory Gallagher if you like rock blues.

Buddy Guy was an inspiration to some of (and even covered by) Clapton.
Derek Trucks is amazing too.. but I'm not sure it'd fit into the style you're looking for.
John Lee Hooker is a fav of mine.

Led Zeppelin I, II, and III and some of my favorite rockin' blues mixed in with the general rock stuff.
