Ok, so I am going to get a HDTV for my room this Christmas and my parents said it could be no bigger than 42', so I am looking for the best I can get for a grand or less, but have not been keeping up with tvs at all so I don't know whats good from looking at a spec sheet.

These things I do want though

1) 47'-42' big
2) 1080p
3) HDMI
*optional* 120hz (I don't know if it will fit in the budget)

Lastly it has to be able to be able to be bought in a store not online.

Please help me out, and thanks in advanced guys.

Going to be hard to find a real good 1080p for under a grand
I'm liking that one Jeffmizrahi.

Wow I went to a best buy and noticed that 42' is pretty big. I'd be willing to go down to 37' but no lower. Im hoping that would make it a little easier to find something.

Everything at best buy was either really cheap 720p, or really expensive sony, 1080p, 120hz stuff.....no middle ground.

What about this guys?

What about something like http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1207957070478

Bravia's are really nice TV's, had my 32" for 2.5 years now and still lovin it! It's about a grand so it looks like it can meet your budget, prolly one of the nicer TV's you will get for a grand, but no 120hz tho...3 HDMI's!
If you care about high motion get something with 120hz or just live with the blur.

If this TV is something you plan on having in a dark room then something with a high contrast will be good.

I opted for the Samsung series 6 120hz a630 model TV and love it. It seems to have the best of both worlds.
120MHz + NVIDIA + Glasses = 60MHz 3DGaming.
