I found this $199 monitor on tiger direct and it looks pretty good to me, but I don't know a whole lot about monitor specs, so look it over for me and give me your honest opinion.

It's a maker I've never heard of: Hanns-G. I dug around on the internet and apparantly they manufacture TFT screens for other companies to build their products, but they're recently forayed into the retail side themselves.

Huh? Really? I have never failed to receive a rebate I sent in. Besides, TD gaurantees their rebates. You just have to be able to follow instructions.

But concensus says specs are ok? I think I'll get it. I mean, hey it's a measly 200 bucks, if I don't like it, I'll just ebay it and get most of my money back.

Where did you see the <200 Dell? The ones I saw were all >300 and I don't find many merchants besides Dell itself.
And the monitor looks bad how? The features or the design?
