Need your advise for a mobo for i7 920 please!

I have been out of the loop for three years. So a lot of catching up to do with the latest CPU/mobo/PSU/GPU specs. Last weekend my Antec PSU smoked my ASUS P5AD2-Deluxe mobo. Instead of dealing with the three years old parts, I decided to build a new rig.

After some research, I bought the i7 920 for $280. It was a tough choice between i5 750 and i7 920. I am not into extreme overclocking. So my budget for this mobo is $150. The board should support triple channel memory, SATA RAID, three way SLI/crossfirex and at least six memory sockets.

Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure six memory slots is possible for $150, unless it is an open box.

I agree, that's a lot of high-end requirements for a $150 budget. But I think this board will do: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157163

I was about to mention the same thing. Great board and I've heard good stuff about it.

I am reading few bad things about the ASRock X58 Extreme. I'm not sure if Newegg received a bad batch.

Any decent mobo for $150-$200 range from ASUS, Evga, abit, gigabyte or Intel?

Thanks
The Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R is a great board. It's already had a revision so it has the PCI-E mod done should you try to take this over 221 BCLK (4.619GHz).

Many people here have it and love it. It's $174 after mail-in-rebate.
