Network Driver messed Up WIN 7 cant get online to fix

like the title says

network adapter in device manager is messed up. i tried to install the latset one but it failed. so i cant get online with that pc

its my gf's pc it has a p5b deluxe motherboard

when i installed win 7 it set it all up.
so if i do a win 7 repair. will it just reinstall the driver?

ive been on asus site and tryd to download dif network adapter drivers but nothing works..
roleback didnt work

you could uninstall it, then have windows reinstall it with Microsoft driver then update if needed.
can't you just download the driver yourself >link< .put it on a usb flash or something and install it on her pc?

edit: oh sry just saw u already tried. hmm!? uninstall or repair instead then?

This. Just uninstall it in device manager and when you re-boot, is should re-install the generic ones from MS.

i tried all the above.. i tried dif drivers. each said no good.
couldnt roll back as the one i origionly got from the asus update tool screwed it all up

ive just done a repair using the win7 disk..
all is good. phew. she gets "raaaaaah" when her pc aint workin

Have you attempted to "roll back" the current driver so you can try the updated driver install again? Also, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads available there for additional assistance and feedback.

thanks but in my last post i stated it now solved.
role back didnt work. i did a repair from disk.
no files/data lost.
all is well. thanks
