Reports that in BF3 textures and framerates are improved over 8.96 driver (12.4 beta)

Catalyst is stil version 12.4 and there's no shell integration to start CCC, just start it from the program menu.

This driver has CLOCK CONTROL RESTORED. Slave cards drop to idle like normal, and ramp up like they're supposed to. I checked the sys32/wow folders and the dll's are there. Yahoo. Now to recreate my eyefinity group and test it out some more.

I just uninstalled the driver via the old driver.exe, cap profile, reboot. Open control panel, uninstall standard vga driver in device manager, reboot. Install new driver, edit ULPS in current folder only. Reboot, AB works like normal, woot.

Where can I download it from that isn't trying to have me download 50 other dame things. I can't even get to it. I keep getting convert this and fix your pc crap. Anyone have a real link?

Welp, the driver portion works pretty good, dx9 stuff is speedy. Clock control works like it should after add the files back in btw. The bad news is dx11 and eyefinity is broke still. The only next step for me is to reinstall the OS as that's the only known way for me to clean the eyefinity configs, otherwise the eyefinity configs persist even with driver cleaners.

Perhaps it's just me, but BF3 feels kinda sluggish after installing this update.

GPU usage is pretty similar compared to previous releases.

Besides the eyefinity dx11 bug, this driver finally has working centered position taskbar. Guess I will do a fresh os to give the driver a fair chance.

another problem in tera the gpu usage dont go over 30 % with vsync off and fps around 40 fps...my cpu bottleneck so much in this game?

the only better drivers for me was RC11. And this is pretty close. I will test them better tomorrow but its not buggy in single config

What? Believe it or not, I just got my 6970 2 days ago and I'm enjoying the AMD drivers. Not one hiccup or problem yet.

Because there are things we are looking for to see if they got around to fixing duh. Hell if no one tested them how would you know its a good driver? lol. Anyways, the stable driver is rc11 aka 11.12 BETA.

Sad news, driver is still bugged in eyefinity. Its a bsod crash fest in dx11 on 3 screens. It's annoying because the eyefinity features actually work well. Freaking aye AMD, get your head on straight. Fix the dx11 bsod on three screens issue! Back to rc11.

these seem fine at first but when i run crossfire 7950's in bf3, the game locks up every single time after about 4-5 minutes of gameplay. with or without caps.. same problem.

Plus theres always theres that feeling of finding an easter egg if such a leaked driver actually IS better.
