I finaly got my new Rig, SPECS:

AMD 64 3700 San Diego @ 2.6ghz STABLE ON AIR COOLING
eVGA GeForce 6800GT
Maxtor DiamondMax 300GB
Patriot Signature Series 1GB (2 x 512MB)

The only Way I got it to 2.6 is with a Thermaltake Big Typhoon HS/F.

This rig cost me $880 big ones!!!!! It was well worth it.

GO AMD!!!

THX! Artic Silver 5 is the best with overclocking!!!!!
nice, do you know what stepping your cpu is? you should be able to hit higher than 2.6
yea you should definately get higher than 2.6...Im running stock cooling at 2.71 OCCT stable and gaming works great
LOL

Thermaltake Big Typhoon that is one big cooler!

I just picked up the "Cooler Master Hyper 48" and got my winnie 1.8 to 2.6 I would have gotten the Typhoon but it won't fit in my midtower case.

storm you'll want to start your own thread so we can help you w/ your oc.

but to get you started... you'll want to lower your ht to 4x and keep your cpu multi at 11x if you raise your htt to 250 that would give you 2.75Ghz. that is what I'm running.

just a note... your cpu will probably do 2.75... but you need to take it there in small steps.
