I was thinking of starting a new build, since Sandy Bridges is out.
My sig rig is what i am currently using.

So far i have put these things in mind for the new build.
CPU: i7 2600K
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115070

Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Pro
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131682

Power Supply: Corsair HX series 750W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139010

RAM: G.skill Ripjaws 2x 4GB 1333
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231402
still deciding on RAM

SSD: OCZ Agility 2 60GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227542

Case: Cooler Master HAF 932
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119160

Now for the CPU cooling i have a question. I want to water cool. I don't know if any of the previous CPU blocks fit on the new Sandy Bridge CPU's.

For RAM I also have a question.
Im looking at these 2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231402
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231401
both are 2 x 4GB just one is at 1333 and the other at 1600.
The timings are almost the same. I don't know how much of a
difference 7-7-7-21 is to 7-8-7-24.
I was also looking at the 2x2GB kits and getting 2 of them or the g.skill or mushkins.

What il be doing with this new computer will be 3D animtion, and graphics design. I will be using 3ds max, maya, photoshop, and a few other programms.
Im sure for gaming, which I will also be doing, most of this would be overkill?

The graphics card will be the ati radeon HD5850 from my current rig.
And about graphics cards, does nvidias cuda and physX help in those 3D programs i mentioned? Like does it benefit having those features at all?

I think thats all the questions i got.
1. CPU water cooling options.
2. RAM.
3. graphics card.

Thanks for the help, and suggetions in advance.

well for the GPU im keeping the 5850 for now. I was thinking of waiting till the ati 7000 series are out, or the next nvidia series. Or perhaps get a 570 or something from nvidia, if the cuda and physX benefits 3dsmax, maya or any of those other programs.
what about my RAM questions? anyone?

I see nothing wrong with your build at all, but I'd grab another OCZ Agility 2 if you can (RAID 0), or use something cheap till the Vertex 3 comes out

You can't bump that much in a day.... You're only allowed to bump once every 24 hours.... As for your ram, go with whichever one has tighter timings and just OC.

Sorry about the bumping, I did not know that.
Would changing the 7-8-7-24 timings to 7-7-7-21 be easy? or will there be other factors to consider when doing that?
I've thought about crossfiring, but for some reason, I just prefer one powerful card over 2 mid range cards. Plus I still dont know if Cuda and/or physx would benefit 3d animation programs at all.
