I would spend an extra 8 bucks for a x3 720 BE

I am a big fan of G.SKIL, value and performance in one. Could save A LOT with GSKIL and their DDR3 line up

Cheers

I'll definitely make the change on the ram, and I'll look into comparing the x3 720 and the x4 630.

Maybe a case?

The Cooler Master Centurion 590 and Antec 300 are both good options, however, I would suggest the Cooler Master, it is sturdier (thicket steel), has better cable management, and is larger. The Antec 300 is a very cramped case unless you are using very-budget hardware. Also, you may want a CPU cooler, such as the Scythe Mugen 2, which would give you a better chance of unlocking the 4th core on the Phenom II X3 and OCing a bit (the Black Edition CPUs are very easy to OC)
