what are you planning to do with this rig

would swap the case - gives us a budget - where you live, what stores are near you.

why the 760 GTX?
are you going to sli in the future? single card only?
CPU COOLER - SOUNDS COOL BUT would invest in a water cooling system

It's for my girlfriend so causal gaming but rarely, mostly school work using excel maybe Photoshop and other editing softwares...yes I know it is a gaming computer but that's what she wanted so I picked out parts for her
budget is strictly 1500$
and yes single card only
I live in chicago so tiger direct, best buy, etc. But planning to order most of the parts from new egg.

if thats the case the z97 w/ i7 is good enough IMO go with a mATX build too
look at phanteks or i forget what other matx cases there are
would look @ the 970 GTX
unless she knows how to overclock would just get her a hypoer 212 and leave it at stock - if it crashes shes gonna wail on you

never the case would be cheaper just you are not going to upgrade now, it is one of the parts it will re used always, and usualy if people changes the case is a proper taste not to fit a smaller HW

She's probably gonna kept the pc for sometime so I rather go with x99 and ddr4, also I'm gonna go with only ssd 500gb is all she needs, I might just change the cpu cooler to corsair h75, and idk why but I prefer nvidia gpu's instead of ATI Radeon (I had both GeForce and radeon)
