Dude, there aren't very many non ECC/regestered motherboards that will support 4x2GB, AND you WILL need a 64bit operating system to be able to run more than 4 gigabytes.

Vista isn't coming out untill like Q3 or Q4, so DX10 support is still quite a ways off.

Figured you would. When I hear Money no issue, i don't think overkill maximum load. I think of what I would get. Even if money wasn't an issue, one 7900GTX would be enough for me.

Definately get 4gigs of ram. It may be overkill but get it. Evga and xfx are good because of there warranties. You really dont need the pre oced ones because you can do that yourself. I would go with xfx or evga. Get Sli also.

Alot of people have the notion that BFG cards are better than XFX, eVGA, etc, becuase they started overclocking their cards first. But XFX and eVGA are taking over the factory overclocked part and doing very well, XFX and eVGA also have better warranties than BFG, there's nothing physically different in any of the cards, other than maybe the visuals the cards are the same...

If you want to go SLi, just get a second 7900GTX, the system will be $~3900 but money isn't a problem so you should be good.
