Ok after some hoarding and some pilfering of random stashes of money i have accumulated 550 Dollars or so for a computer build.

I need everything besides the Harddrives, mouse, keyboard and monitor.
I was thinking......
CPU 3600+ X2 Brisbrane
MB Biostar 550
Ram G.Skill
Case Cent 5
PSU XClio Good power 500w
GPU Saphire 1950xt

If you suggest anything else be more then free to do so. But the 550 also includes shipping.

I have most of those parts in my son's rig and it does great (brisbane x2 3600+, xclio good power 500 watt, biostar tforce550) and it games very well

You may want a 8600 gt or gts

fine as is as lone as you don't mind having to upgrade video for directx 10

667mhz ram will work fine with a brisbane. cpu multi is 9.5 so at stock 333 * 9.5 = 3.163 ghz oc'd (and thats about max) and you can always push the arm if you had to
