The MSI supports faster RAM. 2400 vs. 2100... so there's that.

Sorry I accidentally posted and "oops, nvm" looked stupid.

I suppose this will be for gaming....

What are the other parts you are planning to use? (CPU, Graphics Card, number of hard drives or SSDs?)

i plan on getting 6700, i alread have a 380 gpu that i will upgrade downt the track, i want the build to look nice so was thinking of 16 gig dddr4 red ram sticks not sure which ones, i have a ssd and 1 tb hdd already but id like to add another couple hdds and and another ssd as my current ssd is small and fills up quickly.

Thats all i can think of at the moment,

recently helped a mate build his skylake pc on this mobo

really love the aesthetics
wow just saw that motherboard and it looks so good! Tempted to purchase that one...

so I have narrowed it down to these two motherboards -

https://www.pccasegear.com/products/32864/asus-z170-ar-motherboard

Is there any real difference apart from ram speed allowed and price ?
