Hi everyone,

We know that our Spawn mouse has been a very popular choice for quite some time and we're glad to announce that we have a new firmware revision that eliminates all the main complaints regarding this mouse, including DPC Latency issues and now the lift off distance variations.

Firmware v.201 = LOD <1.29mm

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be glad to answer them.

It's not so great on a black cloth pad either. I guess I will stay with v61 + tape fix which is better in every aspect ... except when dust gets on the tape.

I hope coolmaster will keep the donwload link for v102 (unlike v61) because v201 can't satisfy everyone.

Edit: Nevermind. From I see on the FAQ it looks like both should stay available.

What's wrong with 201 performance?

It's very good that CM is making new firmwares this long after mouse has been released. Many companies release maybe one update after release and then just forget about it.

I can hit negative acceleration very easily (not moving very fast). But I didn't notice any obvious jitter.

I agree with your statement and it's a big reason why I'm interested by the products from this company.

As I sayed into other topic. Can't even use this firmware.

At least, CM Spawn + QcK isn't working. Track speed issues, high negative acceleration, etc.

You're using the correct link posted? There was an error on the file.
If so, please let me know the details and we will forward this back to our firmware team.

I'm getting the same problem, I tested the new firmware on all my mousepads and I end up with the same outcome.

Pads Tested : Puretrak Talent, Roccat Taito 3mm, Razer goliathus

Just use v61 for high max speed, any low LOD Spawn firmware will have much lower max speed.

As a longtime FW Ver. 32 user, I figured I would give this new firmware a go, since it is also supposed have a very low LOD. It works fine for me on my Mionix Sargas 460 black cloth mousepad. I never suffered from the "VOIP Bug", so I'm not seeing a significant difference vs. FW Ver. 32, but it's nice to know CM continues to support their products. Those complaining about tracking should try a black colored mousepad, if possible without any light-colored graphics or text on them. Just like FW Ver. 32, Ver. 201 will not track at all on my white desktop, but works perfectly on my black mousepad, with an extremely low LOD.

My plain black cloth mouse pad (Corepad C1) begs to differ. Same problem with an Razer Exactmat on speed side but it works well with control side! Too bad I can't stand the noise produced by this mouse pad

Just by chance I decided to update my firmware today because I though my mouse was acting odd and I found there's a recently released version

My question is: I found somewhere that I should set a low DPI setting for my mouse, because, at the spawn's case, 800 DPI would be like a true tracking thing, now at 1800 or 3500 it would track less than that and use math to complete, like if it tracked two dots and then make it 4 or 5, thus I wouldn't be able to track 1 dot, only 2 or multiples of 2, for example.

So, is this true?

Don't know if this is relevant, but I'm a high sens player.
