New cpu & mainboard

Hey guys, it's me again. Additionally to me building my own new PC. The PC of a friend of mine needs some repairs, the mainboard failed and it took the cpu with itself.

Now I need some help to decide which mainboard and cpu I'm going to use to replace those pieces.

The budget is around 300$, and I had an i5-4570 in mind. What do you think and which mainboard would be fitted to use with it?

(I'd also like to avoid asrock, as the one who failed was a asrock one...)

Are you buying that i5-4570 new or used? Just wondering to see how much money you would have left for a mobo. I personally would go with ASUS or MSI.
Would buy it new, so there are around 100$ left for a mainboard.
I don't know exactly what German stores offer price wise, but here in the US you can do the following using Amazon.com and Newegg:

GIGABYTE GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP - $109 US (Newegg)
Intel Core i5-3570K - $209.99 US (Amazon)

Total: $320

Then whenever the friend get's a little more cash, you add a COOLER MASTER Hyper TX3 for $20 and do a quick 4.4GHz overclock for him.

That's actually a neat idea, didn't think of this. Thank you kindly, sir.
