New lcd for college?

I will be getting a 13 inch macbook for college. now i need a new lcd. I will also be using this lcd with my gaming rig, so it will need to be compatible with macs and pc's. I will be gaming on this screen. my options so far are:
Sceptre DCL20A
SCEPTRE X20WG
SCEPTRE X22WG-1080p
Hanns·G HG-216DP0
CEPTRE x22wg-Gamer
Hanns·G HW-223DPB
Once again I will be gaming, and it needs to be compatible with a mac and a pc. I don't really know about HD and 1080P and HDCP and all that extra stuff, but I'm guessing that since it seems i can only afford a lcd with a max resolution of 1680 x 1050 and since i will not be watching T.V. on it i will not need most of these features. If there is a different monitor in the same price range, max of $260 USD, but preferably under $250 USD, please let me know. Any advice is appreciated.

edit:
the new samsung looks really nice.

I used to own the x22 wg gamer sceptre monitor, I worked out ok for like a week then developed a pink line right down the middle of the screen...also read the reviews if you havent yet, the dvi port will go out on you. I would definately not purchase that monitor imo. I also had a Hanns G monitor , I gave it to my friend after I upgraded and its still working good, So Of the monitors in that list I would get a Hanns G.
after seeing your edit, I would deffinately go with the samsung hands down, I have the 226bw and its probobaly one of the best investments ive made for my rig.
lol i see the edit now...

okay, samsung wins. hands down.

but for the bang for the price. i'd get the acer.

but if price isn't a worry, go samsung

The Sammy is great, also look at the Acer screens. I have them both side by side, and they are both great lcd's. The sammy is pretty heavy for a 22" lcd, and the Acer is amaizingly light, but the sammy deff has a more glossy/sharper image while the Acer is soft/bright and warm.

thanks for the quick replies. i think that i will try to pull some strings and get the samsung. i shouldn't have any problems switching between the macbook and my windows rig, right?
