Well guys I decided to order a new mobo. Want to know what you think as far as quality v/s price. I'm looking at a Msi P7N 750i SLI Platnum mobo. Its in the $120-$140 range and most of the reveiws are really good. Just wondering if it would make a good oc board? Also I would like to know what would be a good psu to run dual or triple sli xfx 9800 cards?

What do you really look for in a psu? I know the cards are rated at 450 watts, so what does that really mean as far as psu goes? Do you look for a 750 watt psu with a single high amp rail or do you need multi rails??

The best OCing sli mobo would be the EVGA 750i FTW or the EVGA 780i FTW edition if you want to stay with DDR2.

As for a psu the corsair 750w as well as the pc power and cooling 750w are great psu's that can handle 9800gtx+ in sli with no issues.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll go with the corsair. Just read up on it, seems to be a really nice psu.

9800GTX is a 168w GPU. A solid psu that does 460w on 12v can handle the cpu and 9800GTX+ sli. For tri 9800GTX+ sli, you need a soild 750w such as Corsair 750tx mentioned above.

Thanks for the help. The corsair seems to be the one for me. I plan to run triple 9800GTX cards in sli. Wanted to make sure the psu I got could handle the job.

For SLI, your best bet will be the 780i series from EVGA. In terms of the PSU, you won't need anythign that excessive, a 620w will be plenty enough for your rig.
