Heya guys! I finaly convinced my parents that my sempron setup just isn't gonna cut it anymore and that i need an upgrade, and since i got x-mas money i 'm spending it all on a new Opteron 146 and a Abit AV8 with 3rd eye (agp) mobo and trading all my old parts for my friends 5950ultra. I'm stoked but i dunno whether to spend 80bux on a stick of OCZ 3200/400 512stick to go with my other 512 because my 256 stick is a crappy no brand one with really bad timings (It cant run at 200fsb while the 512 stick can
) so what do u guys reckon? a Thermaltake big typhoon or a ocz 512 3200/400.

Thnx alot guys u rule.

Get the memory, the stock heatsink will be plenty fine to get you over 2.5..and this way the new memory will help your performance..
I've heard the stock heatsinks are pretty good as is.
Then down the road when you want to OC to the limit, you will have the memory already, then you just pick up that extra cooling..
You will love the 146
