These G.Skill sticks are supposed to clock like crazy (some over at DFIStreet have them at 300MHz). Mine cap at 255MHz if I want decent timmings. Still, in my book 2GB @250MHz > 1GB @300MHz any day.

Dang.. Those are some nice clocks. I'm using a CNPS9500 right now and I can't manage such nice clocks. I have yet to reapply my AS5 since I think I put too much on the first time around. Grain of rice on the IHS right?

*edit*- Are you using the stock HSF right now?

Well I always use a razor and put a thin film over the surface to keep it all even

~~edit~~ got a freezer pro 64 in mine

Okay.. I'm getting water cooling and I just wanna make sure I put on my AS right this time! I'm gonna re-apply my AS on the 9500 just because I have a feeling it can go higher than 2.64 if it weren't for those temps I get. How much do you suggest to "spread" on?

well I dropped it down to 2.9+ to run a few tests and watch the temps and ran occt for 30 min. Never got above 44 and I'm pretty sure that reading is off by +3-4c..So gonna run some sp2004 overnight tonight and check that and the temps then see where to go from there...vcore wise.
