You can get the 6800GS from newegg.com for $170 US... Great Card, if you can though get the 7800GT for $270 US.

That mobo is good.

Remember, shipping plus conversion would prolly be the same price. I second that the mobo is a good choice. I just bought one for a friend and I like it quite a bit.

don't skimp on ram. That ram is likely "value" get either the gold or platinum series if you're serious about gaming.
o oh got it, so im going with the 6800 GS and the asus premium, with the AMD 3800+ dual if i can sqeeze some if not shud i get the 3800 regular 3500 or 3700 64 Bit AMD Athlon?

PS i heard the 6900 GT isbetter than the 6800 GS? and its cheaper too isnt it?
Well, the 6800 GT is better than the GS, but you'll be looking at an extra $100 if you want it.

Also, I'd suggest getting the x800 GTO2 over the 6800 GS. They both only have 12 pixel pipelines, but you can flash the bios of the x800 GTO2 to unlock all 16 pipelines aswell as oc it up to x850 XT PE speeds since they're both using the same core (r480).

But it's up to you, you are getting an SLI motherboard which is built more for nVidia video cards than ATI.

hmm u sure this is wht i got at prices (canadian)

eVGA Geforce 6600LE 256MB ¡¡ $112 ¡¡ ¡¡
eVGA Geforce 6600GT 128MB ¡¡ $169 ¡¡ ¡¡
eVGA Geforce 6800 256MB ¡¡ $279 ¡¡ ¡¡
eVGA Geforce 6800GS 256MB ¡¡ $229 ¡¡ ¡¡
I was looking at 6800 GT which had 256mb, not 128mb.

The 6800 GS would run better than a 6800 GT with 128mb.
k shud i get the 6800 GT,GS, or X800 GTO2 Sapphire
nice is it easy to do? and is it good with the nforce? asus mobo imgetting
It's quite easy, just use this guide.

http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/...ng/vidcard/127

And I haven't seen any issues with the nForce chipset. (I hope there is none because my next mobo will have nForce4)
well good lucm if you can find an eVga gt 6800 ..i can't..i been wanting sli for w while , but no where has them =\\, and as for the mobo...get a dfi lanparty ultra-d..they have 2-pci-e slots, and they can be modded to sli..also they are great for overclocking so in three years when all you warranteys go away and your computers starting to bite the dust in preformance you can OC the s**t out of it =] -trey
hmmm but i hear that this 1 is amazing overall and has a good overclocking tool, but not the greatest..
