Upgraded an older PC, which will now be my sig-rig. New Mobo, new RAM, new processor.
Specs: AM3+ Quad-core CPU 3.66 Ghz~
8GB Dual channel PNY DDR3 RAM
Same GTX 460 GPU
MSI 990FXA-GD65 Mobo.
Now, the problem I'm having never happened when the old mobo, RAM, and CPU were in here. What's happening is my monitor's resolution doesn't fit the actual screen. Also, the highest resolution I can get is 1280x1020, when this monitor should get up to 1920x1080~. That being said, I have one/one and one-half inches of black screen around the actual windows screen. Suggestions?
EDIT: Just did the Windows Performance index. My GFX score should hover around 7, but now it's down to a one. Also, under the GFX card info in the resolution-change panel, it says I only have 17 MB of free Video memory.
