New phenom II 920 build advice

Hey there guys im in the process of building my first rig, Im building it for music production so i will just be using the onboard graphics but i may add a graphics card later down the track if i do feel like gaming. I have decided to use the asrock AOD790gx/128mb motherboard as ive read some good reviews on it and its bloody cheap. Can somebody recomend some good RAM to use for this build? I think ddr2-800 should be sufficient for my needs? Also i have a mge sidewinder II case with a 450watt mge power supply. Will this power supply be ok seeing im not overclocking and dont have a secondary graphics card in my system?

yep, those specs are good. but don't expect too much from it when overclocking. the board and the ram will hold you back but not that much. that psu is more than fine. just be sure to get a better one when you decide to add a high end card.

Ditch the psu that comes with the case. Either that, or prepare for an early 4th of July with it.

ive been told these boards are quite good for overclocking. Do you think i should go for the giga byte 790gx motherboard offering? also will ddr-800 be fine for my needs at preesent?

that ram is good. but i'd go with 1066mhz in case you wanna overclock. hmm there's a gigabyte board 790x and 750sb. go for that one
